Missouri state representative Rick Brattin, the closeted homosexual you see in the accompanying picture, recently opined that “there is a distinction between homosexuality and just being a human being.” He’s right. There is. WE’RE BETTER. He was arguing against Amendment 43, which would have banned employment and housing discrimination against the LGBT community.

“When you look at the tenets of religion, of the Bible, of the Qur’an, of other religions,” he said, “there is a distinction between homosexuality and just being a human being.”
The amendment didn’t pass. Whether that was due to Brattin’s offensive argument or not, who knows? Discrimination in Missouri is just as easy as it ever was.
The truth is, the dudes who squawk mostly loudly about how gays are evil are the ones who are usually tapdancing in restroom stalls. Their self-hatred fucks things up for the rest of us who are brave enough to live freely. Fuck off, Rick. You’re a POS.
p.s. He also recently introduced a bill that would require women to get the sperm donor’s permission to get an abortion except in cases of “legitimate rape.” Yep, definite POS.
