You have to see this boy with Down Syndrome dancing to Lady Gaga’s Half Time show

Last night, Lady Gaga took center stage at the Super Bowl Half Time show and blew us all away with a medley of her biggest hits, including “Born This Way” and “Bad Romance.” And while we’re still a little salty she performed “Telephone” without Beyoncé (in HOUSTON, no less) we’re willing to let that slide seeing as she really brought it.

But perhaps the best thing about the performance came afterwards, when David M. Perry shared a video of his disabled son dancing along to “Born This Way.”

Perry, who is best known for his activism centered around disabled rights, wrote “He was born this way too #SuperBowl” and attached the video.

Some are critiquing Gaga for not using last night’s performance as a stage to be overtly-political, while others are claiming it was a satanic ritual but it’s hard to argue with it after watching videos like the one above. Besides, you can’t knock the sheer power of performing “Born This Way” during an event marketed towards hypermasculine straight men. Not to mention, imagine Vice President Pence’s reaction as he sat in the crowd and heard the lyrics “No matter gay, straight or bi/Lesbian, transgendered life/I’m on the right track baby/I was born to survive.”
