The music scene knows Tony Moran all too well. If you don’t know much of gay club culture- Tony Moran was at the center of it becoming a two-time Grammy nominated producer and in his right- a Dance music legend. Jumping to success after his early days in the freestyling group The Latin Rascals.
He wrote number #1 hits for the girl group, The Cover Girls, and then went on to become one of the top house music DJ/producers, even working with the likes of Michael Jackson, Cher and Deborah Cox. These days Tony is still producing music an impressive 35 years later after his debut!
Tony has been working on reinventing his sound but still staying faithful to his house roots- giving us the birth of his new double CD release Moodswings. And what a way to celebrate a 35th anniversary of being in the music business with top 12 Dance Chart hit Lick Me Up! Working hard to stay on top of his game with a younger crowd- Tony’s rugged house vibes (and good looks) are keeping him timeless.
Happy 35th anniversary in the biz, Tony! Stay a legend, and stay making beats!
